The BEST Self Care Practices (in my opinion)
Journaling - helps bring mental clarity and eliminate "monkey mind", great to help with racing thoughts that impact sleep
Breathwork - no equipment or instructor needed, can practice anytime and anywhere, can combine with daily tasks like driving, chores, etc.
Movement - Motion = emotion, if you do the same things you have always done you will feel the same way you have always felt
and the #1 BEST Self Care practice is.... the one that serves you.
Self care is about being able to tune into how you are feeling and give yourself what you need at that specific time. You don't benefit from the same tools when you're feeling tired and when you're feeling anxious.
